BACKGROUND

Anand Vidya Vihar, is a co-educational, English medium school, affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education,(CBSE), New Delhi.


INFRASTRUCTURE: Spacious and well ventilated classrooms providing a colourful and stimulating environment to the developing and impressionable minds; separate and well equipped computer labs, physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics laboratories. Colourful rooms for Art, Dance, Music and Audio Visual activities also that allow children to discover their talent in appropriate surroundings.


TEACHERS: It takes a lot to be a teacher at Anand Vidya Vihar. Teachers here are selected not just based on qualification and experience but also their approach to their work and their ability to adopt innovative teaching methods.
The teacher-students ratio is as low as 1:15 to ensure greater individual attention. As for parent-teacher interaction, in addition to the periodic meetings, parents can contact the teacher through, the Personal Contact Programme (PCP). 


LIBRARY: There are two separate libraries, one for juniors and one for the seniors 
With a variety of books, magazines, periodicals, VCDs and DVDs etc to facilitate acquisition of knowledge in an invigorating environment. The libraries allow students to dabble in all subject related activities.     


TOY LIBRARY:  A unique venture, one of its kind in the city has been started at school in the form of toy land or toy library. This gesture is thanks to Childrens’ Toy Foundation, Mumbai. The project was realized due to philanthropists like Girishbhai Parikh and family and Devendrabhai Desai and Prof Jyotiben Parikh.
