PRINCIPAL'S CORNER |
I have a dream and a strong belief in humanity. I see the stars gleaming brighter than ever before, a light that is able to outshine the polluted and contaminated cover that has besieged the world and our very beings.
Central to this dream are the future messengers, the harbingers of peace and it is within our power to take them on the track to success and fulfillment.
The need of the hour is to nurture students in an environment that is supportive, sensitive and competitive. They must be made to understand that life is not all about trampling over another, to get ahead. They must be told that life is beyond the mountains and the dale.
They must be taught how to listen to the sounds of silence. They must be shown that life is all about stopping to gaze at the stars, watching the rising or setting sun. They must realize that each cloud has a story to tell other than bringing rain. For they all are formed on different lands carrying a whiff of their heartaches and musical refrains.
The magic must be retained, their childhood must blossom into adulthood meaningfully. They must be told that it is fine to win as well as lose, it isn’t soft to help someone across the street, it is all right to cry and say I care, it is okay to feel strong and share. At our school we put all this and much more into practice and the endeavour is to make better, sensitive human beings. |
